Today is International Cat Day! International Cat Day is a celebration that takes place every year on August 8th. It was established in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare. It is a day to raise awareness about cats and ways to help and protect them. That is why our saying of the day is: “A cat’s purr is a reminder that the simplest acts of love can have the most profound impact.”
