Today is International Cat Day! International Cat Day is a celebration that takes place every year on August 8th. It was established in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare. It is a day to raise awareness about cats and ways to help and protect them. Today’s saying of the day is therefore: “Cats are like a warm ray of sunshine on a cold winter’s day.”
